Client Testimonials

“Broomfield & Alexander Accountants has assisted my engineering company for the past 14 years to a very high standard and exceptional attention to our accountancy, secretarial and tax services.

The staff are professional, helpful and approachable in all departments providing excellent support to my business all year round as their straight forward demeanour and their depth of expertise allows us to get down to business immediately.”

David, Engineering

“In 2017 my company will celebrate twenty years in business, which is no small achievement for any business. I have been reflecting on the foundations which have supported the company’s growth. One of those foundations has been our relationship with Broomfield Alexander. In the early years it was payroll, tax and annual accounts advice, but as the business has grown, so has the range and sophistication of the advice we have needed. This has varied from help with grant applications (each one of which have been successful) to company takeover, company secretarial support and valuations.  Our primary contact has been Sarah Case, Director at the Newport office and her team, who have been unfailingly available on the end of the phone to ‘hold our hands’ when we needed it. Sarah has been able to combine being ‘the voice of reason’ and ‘critical friend’ – not an easy task – in challenging and supporting our annual business plans and subsequently reviewing the results.  Increasingly over recent years as our needs have become more complex we have worked with the Corporate Finance team, who have helped with the specialist advice normally only available from a national firm.  Successful businesses are built on strong foundations and Broomfield & Alexander has been one of the foundations we have relied on for many years. They have always been there when we needed help and advice, which is always given in a direct and helpful way – just the sort of longstanding friend everyone needs!”

John, Manufacturing

“Our company has used Broomfield and Alexander as financial advisors, accountants, auditors and business advisors for a period in excess of 20 years.

In that time, there has been a change of director due to retirement but no change whatsoever in the quality of advice, professionalism, capabilities and information.

B&A have helped us in complex business buyouts involving banks and other experts, holding their own in any negotiations taking place, and always for our benefit.

During the financial crisis, when, like many small and medium sized enterprises we found ourselves “over borrowed” in a difficult market, the experts from Broomfield and Alexander were able to reassure the bank of our long term viability and show them both short term and medium term changes that would ensure the future of the business.

To sum up, Broomfield and Alexander are big enough to handle the most complex business scenarios, whilst being able to offer the hand-holding that we so often need. I would not hesitate to recommend them to new and established businesses alike.”

Robert, Retail
